Nicolas Fluder has 10 years of successful business leadership in different global corporations with over 1.000 face-to-face meetings regarding the full cycle of sales. He has built numerous business strategies, plans and models for clients in Europe and beyond. As a result, Nicolas has developed his Pragmatic Sales Solutions for your organization!

His last sales experience was for Covance Laboratory, a global corporation and subsidiary of Lab Corp, in the US. This parent company employs over 50,000, serving clients in 60 countries with a net revenue exceeding of $8.5 billion.

Covance, a global contract research organization, works on the top 50 best-selling drugs available today. Nicolas worked there for over two years as Director of Business Development in Europe, responsible for prospecting in mainly France, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Poland.

His role was to manage global key accounts, client opportunities and to connect them to the US and Asia offices. Nicolas built various business strategies, plans, models, tools from scratch and generated pipelines to find new prospects. In addition, he developed relationships with global companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and food supplement sectors.

Before this, Nicolas worked at Merieux Institute Laboratory for 7 years. This corporation employs over 15,000 worldwide with a sales revenue of several US$ billion, globally. Merieux owns numerous business units such as BioFortis, Mérieux NS, Transgene, BioMérieux. Nicolas was a technical sales engineer, managing the business and key accounts in France and Switzerland, with a portfolio of more than US$ 2 million. Nicolas managed existing clients, developed pipelines, built strategies with different international companies in the field of environmental, cosmetology, food, pharmaceutical and biotechnology.

His educational background consisted of learning numerous business strategies, plans, tools, models and marketing topics in the scope of 5 years, such as :

  • Strategic Selling with Miller Heiman courses (US)
  • International business, presentation and communication skills coaching at ELCT (The NL)
  • Management and Leadership at BioMerieux University (France)
  • Sales Solutions and Management at B-Flowers Consulting (France)
  • Global SPIN Selling at Lefebvre Consulting (France)

Nicolas became an Engineer in Life Sciences at Western Brittany (UBO) in France, including several programs in marketing and sales. Prior to this, he achieved a Bachelor’s degree at Lyon University (UCBL) related to the industrial and laboratory sectors. Nicolas also studied medicine at Lyon University (UCBL) in order to learn general medical subjects and to explore the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields.
